OUR STORY

In 2008, two good college buddies and avid surfers, Jason and Kiyo, were sitting in the lineup at El Porto, California on an early sun drenched, glassy morning waiting for the next set of waves to roll in. They had being sharing these sessions for years and wanting to come up with a way to ‘be involved’ in the surf industry. With the evolution of the SUP market showing enormous growth and the costs of surfboards on the rise, they knew the time was right for them to fulfill their goals and start JK Surfboards. Through their years of experience in the finance and manufacturing markets they had the resources and connections to design some boards and test them out. After a few months of R&D and receiving the first boards, Jason and Kiyo had found a way to build quality boards at a great price and it was time to develop the infrastructure to manufacturer more surfboards and SUP's to bring to the market.

Today, JK Surfboards manufacturer twelve different surfboards, nine SUP's in multiple sizes and widths plus paddles and accessories to complete a quality assortment of products as an affordable option in a booming market. JK work with customers across the globe and are rapidly expanding their distribution to specialty surf retailers and other sporting good stores.
